Specifically, the new law requires nonsupervisory employees of covered employers to receive one hour of harassment training, every two years, in addition to the two hours of training required for supervisory personnel. This training must be completed by January 1, 2020. The Department of Fair Employment and Housing (DFEH) announced a new online resources page for employers, which includes information on required postings and other tools for addressing California’s discrimination and harassment laws.
